In December 2020, I was chosen to be part of the directory with Her Wild Vision Initiative. The directory includes woman-identifying photographers, videographers, and storytellers who are focusing on conservations and environmental issues.
Photography for science
I spotted a labidiaster sea star with signs of wasting in the waters surrounding the Antarctic Peninsula. My photos and information were used in the published article “Perspective: Something Old, Something New? Review of Wasting and Other Mortality in Asteroidea (Echinodermata)” by Ian Hewson at Cornell University.
